Not all music artists are the same, & PJ Bennett is definitely as unique as they come
PJ is a Songwriter who records beautiful original music, & don't let the photos fool you, she is a warrior in life due to a debilitating movement disorder that affects her both cognitively & physically. She has Generalized Dystonia, with new unknown neurologic disorder that affects her in almost every way. Music is her therapy. Most recently in 2025 through 2026, PJ's neurologic symptoms have increased to where she has severe challenges walking, and sadly, her vocal chords have bowed and she has had a hoarse voice that is difficult to use to sing or control at all. But she, through prayer, is adaping to this, and is finding new ways to write and sing word by word, or phrase by phrase to record. As her health shifted, so does the syle of music she records. Her dexterity is also affected, and she has been unable to play her piano or guitar. So she records at a slow tempo, chord by chord as she places her fingers into position, and gets her ideas down. Thankfully she has connected with a talented and understanding producer, Sergio Salvucci, who helps get her songs tracked and produced. For PJ, creating music is TRULY A MIRACLE .
Whatever PJ's struggle is, or experience, she wants to use music to help others through their lives. As she says, "God meets me where I am, and I want to meet people where they are as well. Whatever it may be, and bring them through it and help them feel understood."
In this dog-eat-dog music business, she found her niche in writing & recording in small increments as she is unable to perform live due to her disorder.

PJ's NEW UPCOMING ALBUM for 2026, Produced by Sergio Salvucci of Wildthorn Productions out of New Hampshire USA, will have a little something for everyone. As she began the project, she had one concept in mind, but again, as her life changed, her faith strengthened, and she felt led to add that to her album as well. Songs of love, heartbreak, overcoming, finding your worth, and finding strength in your faith. Since God brings PJ hope, she wanted to share that hope with you on this album. There is a mix of secualr and faith based songs throughout this unique album.
Truly meeting you where you are, while she was also met where she is in her journey. Why not share that!
PJ also had her first professional Debut EP with Producer/Bassist Tony Franklin (Fretless Monster of The Firm, Kate Bush, Whitesnake, and more!) The EP is titled "Taking Back My Life" and was released in 2023. With her first real music viceo of the title track song, and that video was directed and produced by Sergio Salvucci of Wildthorn Productions.
Living in the USA, PJ had an opportunity to record a few songs in Canada in 2018 with Guitarist/Producer Rob Robbins of MOXY. She worked virtually with USA Drummer Dennis Leeflang (Bumblefoot, Lita Ford), USA Bassist Chris Tristram (House of Lords, Jack Russell’s Great White), and a few talented local Canadian musicians. PJ also collaborates in writing and recording with other industry professionals around the world.
As PJ writes and records as a unique artist, she also continues to write music with the intent for others in the industry to record. Her writing in genres of Indie, Rock, Country, Alternative, Soft Rock, and other requested genres keeps her creative drive always moving forward. Again, God helps her keep her hopes and faith alive and well. Music is such a beautiful therapy for her brain!
